Victoria Dondysh

Victoria Dondysh holds a private piano studio. Her students have performed at Weill Recital Hall, Bruno Walter auditorium at Lincoln Center, Engelman Recital Hall at Baruch Performing arts center . Her students have gone to Indiana University, Manhattan School of Music, Yale University, MIT,  and Purchase University. As part of curriculum, Victoria Dondysh prepares her students for ABRSM, competitions and auditions. She also organizes annual student recitals. Ms. Dondysh is a member of the Piano Teachers Congress of New York.


Victoria Dondysh was born in Moscow (Russia). She began studying piano and composition with Tatiana Rodionova at the age of 6. She performed her own compositions at the Central Hall of the Arts in Moscow and received honorable reviews from the major Russian newspaper. After arriving in United Sates she was accepted to Juilliard School of Music where she continued studying piano and composition with Andrew Thomas. She was a winner at the young artist competition on Long Island where she performed Mozart's concerto number 17 in G major, K 453. Victoria holds her B.M and M.M. degrees from Manhattan School of Music, where she studied with Byron Janis and Arthur Balsam, and Mark Silverman.

Victoria Dondysh recorded J.S. Bach Partitas on Centaur label.  She was featured on WQXR classical music station at David Duball’s program several times.  Performed in USA , Moscow and Soeterberg festival in Holland. Ms. Dondysh is listed in Who is who in America.
